I got the following error message when I tied installed the module.

Failure ExceptionSystem.Exception: Dnn load failed, aborting at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnLoaderFactory.GetDnnAdapter() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaInstaller.Install()

what is the version of your dnn instance ??

Hi,

I just downloaded the module and got the same error when trying to install the module to DNN.

Failure ExceptionSystem.Exception: Dnn load failed, aborting at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnLoaderFactory.GetDnnAdapter() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaInstaller.Install()

 

I'm running DNN 04.08.03

Hi Rich,

when I went on the other web site to check what\'s going on the module was install and it was working correctly.

did you check if the module was working.

can I make test on your web site to find the problem, because I’m not able the reproduce this problem on any environment here.

13245_6743_Forum_latest_Install_01.00.01_DNN5.0_ENT.zip
13245_6743_Forum_Latest_Source.zip

As mentioned, I'm running DNN 04.08 with a SQL2005 database.  Which zip file should I use to install the module?
I'm pretty sure that I should ignore the "latest_source" one.  :)

13245_6743_dnnmtl_forum_news_01.00.01_Install_ENT.zip

this is the install package for DNN 4.x that's the one you should take


13245_6743_dnnmtl_forum_news_01.00.02_Install_ENT_SQL2K+.zip

this is the install package for dnn 4.x with SQL 2K, it will work for you either but you should use the other one.


13245_6743_Forum_latest_Install_01.00.01_DNN5.0_ENT.zip

This package is for DNN 5.X only SQL 2K5

This is the source

That did it Francis! 

I think I tried to install the 5.0 package originally by accident and that produced the error.

Thank you very much.  I'm off to try and place the module on a page.
